Patterns of gilded bronze flowers and thorn garlands associated with Mary, together with their Welsh names, set into the recesses of the reredos.

Frank Roper also executed a floral window conveying a calendar of flowers of the church's seasons at Michaelston-le-Pit, near Dinas Powys. His wife Nora Roper would have also been influential here.
