St Dyfrig

Dyfrig (Latin: Dubricius) was adopted as the founding patron of Llandaf in the twelfth century by Urban, the bishop of Llandaf. His body was brought from Enlli (Bardsey) and buried at Llandaf. The saint was also the patron of churches in Herefordshire, which seems to have been the original centre of his cult.
