St Cadog

Welsh saint associated with churches across south-east Wales, particularly Gwent, although in the twelfth-century Latin Life of St Cadog, his principal monastery is found at Llancarfan in Glamorgan. His parents were Gwynllyw, king of Gwent, and Gwladys, a daughter of Brychan Brycheiniog.
